28 Years Later The Bone Temple (2025) is an action-horror film that starts from
where the first part ended. It follows a group led by Jimmy Crystal, a psychotic satanist who manipulates people, makes them believe in imaginary things, and kills in the name of charity. Some follow him, some oppose him. Samson, the big zombie from the first part, is turning human, and a doctor who talks about peace is killed.
Written by Alex Garner, the film feels similar to real-world politics and society. It is different from Danny Boyle’s 28 Years Later but works as a sequel. The film focuses less on zombies and more on human evil—greed, power, control, and oppression. The dystopian world felt confusing to me. It is full of absurdity, gore, brutality, and nudity, and not made for everyone.
