A film that explores identity crisis with a beautiful love story.
A good idea, but the execution could've been better. Poetic dialogues, scenes and music makes '29' a good watch for me. For me, if a film is relatable in any area, that film would be my cup of tea. That's why 29 is still my cup of tea, even though it has so many flaws. After the age of 25, most of the boys are going through this situation - identity crisis. Who am I? What's the purpose of my life? What if life goes like this forever? 29 explores this in so many times. But the problem in the film is the beautiful love story overshadowed the core plot I think. Vidhu and Preethi Asrani did a great job, beautiful chemistry between them. I loved their combination scenes. Anyone can call it cringe, but sometimes cringe gives a smile on face. That's the matter. Sean Roldan's music is one of the biggest key factors of the film. Rathna Kumar's beautiful writing and visualisation.
Overall a good watch for me.
