SCALE CAN'T TOUCH SHAJI PAPPAN AND HIS BOYS!
FILLED WITH FUN AND WACK WHILST
BALANCING IT WITH ACTUAL REAL WORLD STAKES!
M. M. T.'s third installment of the Aadu franchise surprised me, honestly, I couldn't get myself to be hyped (screams of L2: Empuraan) but fortunately it turned out to stay loyal and grounded to the source without forgetting or getting away from what made the first two films special, while increasing scale and stakes, a big feat imo.
The film takes a creative route by maintaining comedy whilst integrating different eras and maintaining the wack and making it "era-appropriate", and also promises science fiction.
I love the Aspect Ratio switching, normally that's something I don't prefer, but for this film it just fits in naturally.
The visuals are great from all the "time lines" and sequences with commendable vfx and CGI.
Jayasurya makes a comeback after a long hiatus, and it's with a bang, along with all his piller, Shameer, Dude, P. P. Sasi and Satan Xavier.
The intro sequences are really great and funny, with Shaan Rahman's iconic wacky music.
Dawn Vincent does a fine job in maintaining tension for the olden era scores but the real kick of it is from the original themes by Shaan Rahman.
Excited for the continuation.
Will be seated.
