Accused (2026) is a Hindi film in the Suspense, Drama genre, made with an
international visual accent, resulting in polished frames and color grading. The story of Accused revolves around Dr. G Sen and whether the allegations against them are true or false. The film's final moments discuss how society treats women when they are successful. The film maintains a consistent tone from beginning to end, with no peak or low moments; it's just neutral. The film has twists that come and go. I find it strange to see gay or lesbian relationships on screen, no hate for them, but because of the accusations the film discusses, these characters make the story supportive. The performances are actually really good. The film is based in the UK, but no one is speaking in a British accent, and I like listening to British accents. I chose this film to see my two favorite female stars, Konkana Sensharma and Pratibha Rannta. I'm satisfied with their work but not with the film. This film has really left me with mixed reactions. So I am unable to recommend it.
