Woww!! This is such an underappreciated movie of Aamir Khan.
Being a father myself, I couldn't even imagine being in his shoes at the point when he was about to lose his son. I literally cried uncontrollably. It is such a great movie. It doesn't waste much time getting into the actual plot, and I really liked that aspect. Also, the movie never turns into a melodramatic soap opera; it stays completely grounded throughout. I am probably being a bit harsh by reducing half a star, but it is a fantastic watch.
