The incident shown in this movie is something I have also seen in real life. Even in my native town, I have seen similar incidents where old people are killed because their families feel they cannot take care of them anymore. What shocked me the most is that the relatives and even the people around them sometimes treat it like something normal. Everyone knows what is happening, but nobody talks about it seriously or questions it. I have always wondered why these incidents don’t get more attention and why people accept them so casually. While watching Baaram, I felt like the movie had taken the exact thoughts and questions I have had for a long time and turned them into a film. I have been wishing for a long time that someone would make a movie about this issue, and Baaram did exactly that. The movie is very short, simple and crisp. The casting was good, and the sound design and natural live sounds were also very effective. The best thing is that the movie doesn’t waste time. It clearly delivers its message without adding unnecessary things. Overall, Baaram is a really good film with an important message. It is an important awareness movie, and I feel everyone should watch it. The message in this film deserves to reach more people.
