✨ Review
Backrooms is the kind of horror film that gets under your skin
without relying on constant jump scares. Instead, it traps you in endless yellow hallways, eerie silence, and a feeling that something is always watching. It’s unsettling from the first scene and rarely lets go.
The biggest surprise is how immersive it feels. Kane Parsons successfully expands his viral YouTube concept into a feature-length film, making the endless maze feel both terrifying and strangely believable. Chiwetel Ejiofor delivers a grounded performance that keeps the emotional side of the story intact, even when things become increasingly surreal.
This isn’t a horror movie for everyone. If you’re expecting nonstop monsters or loud scares, you might find it slow. But if atmospheric horror and psychological tension are your thing, Backrooms is an unforgettable experience.
