Iñárritu is a drama film that talks about the life of a fading actor trying to have a comeback by appearing in a Broadway play. It shows how people forgets the very people behind the mask. All they remember is the mask and what it conveyed. The aspect where this film truly outshines is the camera handling department, i.e, cinematography. The unique style of "one-er" was used throughout the film. It feels as if the film is an one single big take without any cuts, in-between them. This is a meticulously planned and beautifully executed technique. The film includes multiple long takes and edited in a way that it hide all cuts and viewers feels to watch a long constant shot. The casting was superb. The acting of Michael Keaton, Edward Norton, Emma Stone, Naomi Watts and others was so pitch perfect. I just loved them. The unexpected virtue of ignorance made riggan he had always wanted. He wanted as an artist to get validation from audience. He acted so well he got nominated for oscar. Overall, a must watch film.
