It's Shubhash K Raj's first film, and an attempt has been made to take a good niche and put it into a massy template to give it a fresh appeal. The film definitely has some noticeable flaws. Some fight scenes are forced, some are good. In the same way, the entire film is balanced, and this film will give you a decent entertainment experience. It has martial arts-centric action mixed with mass moments, with slow motion, and an attempt has been made to show villains as dreadful, while also being stupid. The film gives RDX and Drishyam vibes. The stakes of the film don't feel high because everything feels fast, comfortable, and convenient. However, the makers have presented this film in a light-hearted way. Not everything falls into the negative. The film also has some enjoyable moments. The biggest highlight of the film is Preity Mukundan, goodness gracious gorgeous 🥰. Blast is a family-friendly action, light-hearted film with no seriousness, keep your expectations low and just enjoy the action sequences.
