Names associated with Tumbbad had the expectations high for this film.
Sohun Shah gets to show this range in the 90ish min movie. Visually pretty good, cinematography gets a special mention. So glad they didn't drag this any longer it had to be.
I wish i had more positives to add but sadly not. By no means I'd pick anything out to be a negative but the film and the plot didn't hit the way i had expected it to.
You know you're not going to see the regular storyline so you're constantly waiting for the twist. Not convincing enough And when it arrives, you are expecting the twist, you just didn't know what it was. Not sure if that played role.
Nothing negative to say though. Surely a decent one time watch, but if i had to rewatch Tumbbad vs watching this one for the first time, knowing what i know, I'd pick Tumbbad.
