Following the mega success of the first instalment, this time it’s retribution
time and the director goes full Monty using the killing machine propagandist sorry protagonist and how he dismantles all the enemies fighting inside the enemy territory . The action sequence in the first 20 mins was absolutely top notch with action choreography, score and cinematography all coming together like a crescendo. There were few portions highlighting the vulnerability of the protagonist or his sense of not having an actual identity or the portions where he loses the people close to him or how they ended the film. These portions show the range of an actor like Ranveer which we don’t get to see much .. The poise , the body language is unique for each time period in the film and ranveer is able to bring this out really well but these portions are very minimal cos the director wants to bring the mayhem on screen and bring on the human crushing machine just pulverise all his enemies to pulp. The climax went on and on and it was kinda tiring but then the film ends well with some smart choices .
This time the propagandist whitewashing isn’t subtle anymore and they’re smashing shit on everyone’s face and calling it icecream. The demon episode was just terrible . I remember in 2016 the Internet clowns would say our armed forces are guarding our borders day and night and so you shouldn’t complain bout few hours in the atm line to take out your hard earned money and that’s how this episode is treated by calling it a master stroke. The director is a fantastic filmmaker with a very strong conviction but also has strong propagandist whitewashing qualities and it doesn’t sit well but that’s the world we live in . Who are we to complain.

vengefully murders anyone in his wake, is indeed the highest point of the movie. That, and possibly
