Jennifer Lawrence delivers one of the most fearless performances of her career, making Grace magnetic, frightening, and often difficult to watch. Robert Pattinson portrays Jackson as a weary partner struggling, and failing, to hold their life together. Die My Love confronts postpartum mental illness and how easily it is dismissed or misread as “bad behavior,” while exposing the fragility of romantic and family myths once isolation and care work take hold. Less a clinical “issue film” than a subjective plunge into Grace’s psyche, it uses physicality and shock to transmit her unraveling. Ultimately, Die My Love is a bold, disturbing, and technically accomplished descent into one woman’s collapse—elevated by Jennifer Lawrence’s fearless performance, but hindered by repetition and emotional distance.
