The Cine Column
Don't Trouble the Trouble is a whimsical, family‑friendly fantasy comedy that
sets out to tell a charming fable about a morally ambiguous con artist and a magical child. While the film is powered by sincere performances from Fahadh and newcomer Ssara Palekar, its bloated runtime, uneven pacing, and repetitive emotional beats prevent it from fully realizing the potential of its heartwarming premise. Even when working with a thinly written character, Fahadh brings his trademark charm, expressive physical comedy, and emotional sincerity to Suri, making him consistently engaging. The film’s true revelation, however, is debutant Ssara Palekar, whose natural, unaffected performance gives the story much of its warmth. Her effortless chemistry with Fahadh generates the film’s most endearing and emotionally satisfying moments. Despite its imaginative setup, the screenplay struggles to maintain momentum. Fantasy storytelling thrives on wonder, surprise, and forward movement, yet the narrative lingers too long on repetitive road‑trip episodes that gradually sap the film of its energy. What begins as an intriguing adventure soon starts to feel stretched and directionless. The supporting cast is also underserved. Actors such as Mahesh Manjrekar, Saurabh Sachdeva, and Subbaraju are reduced to generic, underdeveloped antagonists who add little dramatic tension or comedic payoff to the story. On the whole, Don't Trouble the Trouble is a well‑meaning fantasy comedy with its heart firmly in the right place. While its charming central performances and wholesome premise provide occasional moments of delight, an overstretched screenplay and a lack of genuine narrative magic prevent it from becoming the memorable family adventure it aspires to be.

Fantasy appeal worked in the film for sometime, Fafa & Ssara scenes little bit
enjoyable, at the same time 2nd half stretched & emotional flowing over the top! HCSR - 🌟.5 /
