you can say journey spans with different people's lives. But there is no reincarnation or such themes. Here the story captures Gohan's journey from being a puppy to taking his last breath. And i feel you will love this movie a lot more than that. For 10 years, Gohan has been passed from one owner to another. each story brings us warmth and sadness, making the audience feel like they're in a mess. It's like all our feelings are mixed up. I loved how this film presented different perspectives. The beautiful cinematography, the emotions are kept very subtle and realistic and the well-placed comedy kept the film from feeling flat. The film never felt like it was trying to force tears. Instead, it told its story with a quiet, gentle kind of love. Ten years in human life may only be a small chapter in life, but for Gohan, those years were an entire lifetime filled with three sincere bonds. It experienced abandonment and wandered through so much uncertainty, yet every time it looked at humans, its eyes still held nothing but pure trust and love. And the film captures these moments perfectly. Even at the end when gohan is very old and weak , You could truly feel the passage of time and the quiet fading of a life in his eyes and through emotions others feeling around gohan. However, at over two hours long, it felt a bit slow and you kept waiting for something extraordinary which you witnessed in dog movies before. However, that doesn't deny the fact that this film deserves much praise for its screenplay and performances. The film really tells us how every encounter and every moment of companionship in life is something worth cherishing, and it highlights the story of all the abandoned dogs out there. Who is surviving in harsh conditions which are not ideal for them. Your little help, love and comfort can bring great joy in both lives.
