like a therapy to me, getting lost into a world, completely detaching yourself and being someone else for some time, that a feeling which i never want to give up. And i love those movies which are a therapy in themselves, like this one. Where just two strangers talking to each other, building trust, sharing vulnerable emotions, memories, and trauma. These are the kind of films which show important therapy is, be it any kind, here for adnan, acting was a therapy, and for Mouni who taught she knew everything about acting, but she didn't do anything about her own self. How her actions, words, thoughts affect others and her own self. People often believe conversation driven films lack strong screenplay or become boring, here you don't feel that for a single second. Every moment, every scene feels so tender, matured and makes you feel something. I can just close my eyes and listen to them talking and imagine the scene unfolding. a day-long conversation over video-call, about that acting workshop of sorts, which unknowingly turns into therapy sessions for both of them which creates significant changes in their lives. The film brilliantly examines the emotional turmoil that artistes go through, in order to produce art itself, and also about people going through depressions and the ways to they find to get out of it. Aditya Kriplani somehow finds great similarities between both art and suffering, and creates moving and sensitive story that really makes you think. Through these acting exercises the film shows the ways to project your feelings, understand them and balance them. For me it became more than just a movie.
