For me, this film was above 8.5
but not quite 9. This would be a solid 8.8 rating.
What an incredible film from Bollywood. I mean, how come the whole industry shifted to cliché‐masala‐action? These films is what true Indian cinema is.
Vicky Kaushal's performance is so epic. The cinematography was so raw and authentic. That shot of Varanasi ghat with body burning all around, after the bus accident was so heartbreaking. It just left me utterly speechless.
Film talks about the casteism and gender discrimination. The film is about life, death and everything in between. Something that is inevitable. Must watch for everyone, especially those who says Bollywood has always been sh*t.
