MAN OF CINEMA
Loved the premise but not the ending.
Night Police patrolling is something which hasn't been explored in many movies. This one does it very brilliantly with an authentic presentation with two cops who have their own morals, trauma and emotional baggage which affects them personally as they come across several cases throughout that night.
Its an Effective copaganda, But Ronth's themes, tone and even plot similarities with Nayattu became obvious to me only after that direct reference to Nimisha & Kunchacko's characters from Nayattu, in a scene.
I would like it even more if they did not have added that drama of arresting police and making them involved in the case. That looked a bit forced and just done for a plot twist. Despite that Ronth is still a very compelling watch with a refreshing premise.
