A WWII psychiatrist evaluates Nazi leaders before the Nuremberg trials, growing increasingly obsessed with understanding evil as he forms a disturbing bond with Hermann Göring.

MAN OF CINEMA
"The Only Clue to what man can do is what mad has done" I expected Nuremberg
would focus mainly on the trail like court room drama, to my surprise the movie solely focuses on what happened before the trail. When these Nazi officers were apprehended, a Psychiatrist Kelly tried to crack their hard brainwashed minds to know what made them commit these hideous acts of crime against humanity, where this hatred comes from, and tries to understand their psyche. Before the actual trial which takes place in the last 30mins of the movie. Its a classic post-war potboiler, but it never really gets there interms of intriguing you with the storyline, maybe i am too worned out from countless number of films on nazi, there is nothing new to see. And a weak screenplay only makes things worse. But the performances are the saving grace for the film. There are multiple standout performances like from Rami Malek, but one that really outshines everyone is Russel Crowe. There are very few rare moments in the history of cinema when an actor doesn't simply play a character, but embodies it with such intensity that it overflows from the screen. This performance was one of them. The psychiatrist played by rami malek tries to understand how the Holocaust happened throughout the movie, and the end he tries to warn, this is not gona be only genocide the world will see, it could happen again. And did happen again in many parts of the world which are highly unnoticed and ignored. But surprises me most is the genocide of Gaza, committed by Jews. How someone who suffered generational trauma and pain from similar things is able to commit genocide on other human beings. Its like their own history taught them nothing. The Japanese army and regime were cruel and committed several war crimes, but if you see them now they are ashamed of it, corrected themselves and have remorse. But with Jews it happened completely differently. I am not saying all jews want this to happen, but every jew should condemn what the Israel regime is doing to gaza if they even have a single ounce of humanity left in them after surviving through holocaust.
