Curry Barker’s `Obsession’ is a great
psychological horror thriller which is very well made with an intense background score, creepy and immersive atmosphere, engaging screenplay, brilliant direction by Barker and last but not least, the true highlight of the film, Inde Navarette as Nikky and Michael Johnston as Bear. Their performance was incredible and carried the film to whole another level, Michael Johnston’s portrayal was relatable and simple, he also looks like De Niro from the Taxi Driver. However it was Inde who stole the show, what an incredible performance, it was simply iconic. The film tho is mostly a psychological thriller than a horror film, so keep that in mind before watching. Loved it.
