And if you love college romance stories where love is supposed to take a backseat but slowly blossoms over time, this one does it really well. One thing I absolutely loved was how realistically the series portrayed modern relationships. It perfectly shows that there isn’t just one formula or one kind of love story that works for everyone. Each character is finding their love in their own way. You also get extra brownie points because the ice hockey matches are REALLY intense and incredibly well-shot. And for everyone comparing it to To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before… it’s honestly nothing like that. Overall its a good series, the songs will stay with you. Also all thanks to my friend who recommended it to me. I still can’t believe I binged such a long series in one stretch for the very first time. I guess I just unlocked a new achievement!
