This pushed an old woman to take steps to stop her daughter in law, which curses her for life. The film brilliantly combines natural , supernatural and folklore elements in the film with stunning photography in monochrome, which sets up a great mood for horror. lush darkness and luminous tall grass absorbs everyone in it, including us. One of the absolute best of atmospheric horror movies you will ever see. A perfect combination of art, allegory and visuals. It's a brilliant symbolic movie which tells our vulnerable emotions are the real demons which can destroy us easily if you don't know how to control them.
