If I have a boy, I'll teach him how to love.
If I have a girl, I'll tell her the world is hers.
Polytechnique, directed by Denis Villeneuve is an extremely poignant, ominous and heartbreaking film that shows the infamous incident of school shooting in the ecole engineering institute, Montreal in 1989.
The film progresses on a plot that is very relevant in today's context. The toxic and intolerant attitude towards others. Someone with an extreme notion is always troublemaker.
Polytechnique, being shot in b&w plays with contrast effectively making everything on screen more dramatic. The movement with frames also portrays the fear and vulnerability of characters.
Denis Villeneuve started getting into his today's self from this film. A must watch:))
