Martyr Jaswant Singh Khalra was that ray of light who tried pull punjab out of the darkness and tried to tell the truth of oppression, extortion and killings committed by Punjab Police unit against thousands of innocent civilians, whose bodies never recovered. In India if you try to tell the truth, they call you liar, if you provide evidence they will call you anti-national, if you try to fight back peacefully they will label you terrorist and put you in jail. Sonam Wangchuk, Umar Khalid, Sidheeq Kappan and many more like them are latest example of that. Nothing has changed even now. Only thing is Jaswant Singh was not lucky like them to rot in jail, instead he was tortured for weeks and killed by police inside the jail after kidnapping him. This film reconstructs the entire saga of injustice, sacrifice and suffering of those people is such a perfect way. The film itself fought many battles so that it can get released, they didn't let it release in theatres, but now its finally on OTT, with a new name "Satluj" go watch it.
