Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama

Beautiful Retelling Of An Age Old Epic! Top Notch Animation, And The Sincerity Just Shows In The Writing - Capturing The Nuances And Virtues Of Most Characters Really Well! Some Chapters Rushed Through, But I Will Let That Pass! More Than 30 Years Since Its Release - And This Still Feels Fresh! There Is Always So Much To Learn From The Ramayana And Its Characters - One That Goes Beyond The General Narrative Aimed At The Masses! So Many Layers That Will Unravel With Every Rewatch! So Many Symbolisms To Be Discovered & Implemented In Real Life... The Question Now Remains - Will An Indian Movie Adaptation Of Our Culture Ever Exceed The Earnestness Of This Japanese Film? I Sincerely Hope So, But Only Time Will Tell!
