Nargis’ performance was so fucking bad that it single-handedly elevated the
performances of the rest of the cast.
Kapoor's oozing innocence is truly out of the world, especially in the most invulnerable scenes.
Writing was good but not as poignant as a story like this could've been.
Where the movie truly shines is the music & how it's shot.
Calling the music beautiful would be a gross understatement. It's absolutely ethereal. What's even better is how well the songs fit the film.
The way the movie's shot is also very nostalgic, & in some weird way, melancholic.
Overall, a good film which could've been great if some things were improved.
