Scary Movie

This time, the list of references, film parodies, and mimicry is quite long. The central theme of this film revolves around the Scream franchise, but it also incorporates nostalgia from its own older films, which we saw happening in Scream 7, making fun of its nostalgia baiting. It also pokes fun at the horror slasher movie template, and they haven't spared accolades like Oscars or Emmys. And to top it off, they've made fun of many films like Sinners, The Substance, and Us. My favorite was the weapons scene where the kids got high, and the train scene, man, they showed all the killers. Since I've seen more than half of those films, I understood the references, but the ones I hadn't seen went completely over my head. The black stereotype jokes were so repetitive that after a point, I was tired and couldn't even laugh anymore. They didn't even spare animated K-Pop series. The climax had twist after twist that just wouldn't end, and the John Wick sequence was entertaining. So, in the Scary Movie universe, no horror movie is safe, man, these guys will mess with everyone. I want another part to be made. It's just that this film exaggerated some things in many places.
