MAN OF CINEMA
Every time when it's spring season in Japan, it's time for new love to blossom
out. We see such a beautiful story of an introvert and shy girl from hokkaido who moved to tokyo to study, learning to live on her own, trusting people around her slowly and forming new connections which blossom into first love under lashing rain. Those last few minutes were just so magical and miraculous as she says.
I really loved the color palette of the film, soft and saturated colors with almost dream-like cinematography, just like when you dream about how you will find the first love of your life.
Its a gorgeous slice of life cinema filled with comforting colors and setting and relevant character that you will adore.
