Theo, an ambulance driver stigmatized by his town, begins seeing visions of deceased people he transports. His troubled mind, shaped by childhood loss, creates these apparitions as emotional substitutes for connection.

Sukhamano Sukhamann follows Theo, a lonely young man struggling with
unemployment and the emotional baggage of his past. After taking up a job as an ambulance driver responsible for transporting bodies for cremation, Theo begins to imagine that the deceased passengers are speaking to him and sharing his living space. The narrative takes an interesting turn when two individuals enter his life, setting the stage for a story about companionship, grief, and healing. The film is built around a promising premise that blends comedy, and emotional drama. However, despite its potential, the screenplay does not fully capitalize on the strength of its central idea. Much of the humour not really worked for me, while the emotional depth suggested by Theo's loneliness and trauma remains only partially explored. As a result, the film settles into a largely average viewing experience rather than becoming the impactful drama it aims to be. That doesn't mean, the film has only flaws. Jagadish delivers a commendable performance, bringing warmth and authenticity to his character, whose backstory emerges as one of the more engaging aspects of the narrative. Mathew Thomas and Devika Sanjay also perform their roles effectively, with Mathew particularly shining in an emotionally charged scene where Theo speaks about his mother. Moments such as these demonstrate the film's ability to connect with the audience when it focuses on character-driven storytelling. The soundtrack is just okay, also none of the songs standing out beyond the film's runtime. While Sukhamano Sukhamann offers a few heartfelt moments and sincere performances, its uneven execution prevents it from reaching the emotional and thematic heights its premise promises. Overall, it remains an average experience for me.
