James Gunn definitely delivers with his rebooted version of Superman.
It's refreshing to see a superhero movie executed well after such a long time. The Dolby 3D experience on the Prasad's PCX's humongous screen with flat content was so exhilarating. Those flying scenes and the action scenes were just beautiful to look at.
This Superman movie is written with a great human touch making us realise the whole actual point of Superman. It is strongly political too referencing the current catastrophic situations between the countries.
David Corenswet is brilliant as Superman. He puts in a really strong and earnest performance bringing the humane touch and vulnerability that Superman needed. He was no doubt the perfect casting.
Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luther was a strong antagonist to the superhero and he was formidable in his role as well.
Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane has really good screen presence and shares a really good bond with Clark in whatever scenes she has with him though their dynamic isn't explored much.
Krypto, Superman's furry pet and a super dog, is just so adorable and has real heroic moments. Absolutely loved the writing of this Lil guy bringing in the cuteness to the movie.
The jokes mosty work and the VFX is really great with excellent cinematography by Henry Braham. Even Beth Mickle's production design really brings a great comic book like feel. The integration of the Justice Gang is really good. A few jokes feel forced and the henchmen of Luther are mere caricatures. Keeping those aside, it's a great new start by DC.

What defines the DCU — its aesthetic or its darkness? Put Snyder aside, set the
darkness aside — welcome to the new, Marvel-fied DCU.

Such a shitty movie.
Don't lecture us to think the way we want to live in this world. Too many flaws and many unimpactful distractions. You just can't have any sort of decent fun

James Gunn's Superman provides a grounded and humanistic perspective on the
comic book character filled with the director's crude sense of humor. The emotional beats of the film

James Gunn’s Superman offers a refreshing, heartfelt take on the Man of Steel,
blending lighter tones, dynamic action, and compelling character chemistry.

James Gunn literally brought back the nostalgic fun and high of watching a
super hero film where the super hero is as vulnerable and humanized.

Superman was loads of fun ..
it was light weight , the story begins bang in the middle . We don’t see anything of what happened when he was a kid and we see his nemesis Lex Luthor

The whole thing was unfair to Lex Luther.
C'mon, dog and selfie was completely out of syllabus.

#Superman is a snackable superhero drama that doesn't quite linger on for too
long. It is good in parts but also overstuffed, thereby only making it a decent watch.
