The Drama

2026 English MovieRomance Comedy Drama
POWERED BYJustWatch

A happily engaged couple is put to the test when an unexpected turn sends their wedding week off the rails.

MAN OF CINEMA
The drama spiralled out of a trusted confession with a disturbing backdrop of
mental health, suicidal thoughts and bullying. And the film takes the confession and instead of handling it with a sensible tone, it just goes stupid for some reason. I am not saying there was no place for dark humour here, but the treatment of that humour is very silly, unrealistic and overstretched, the comedy of this situation could have been much better according to me. It loses any potential this film may have had. I understand people judge other's thoughts and gossip about it, but in the film how every character reacts to this reveal. Every single character acts so immature about the situation to the point that it became annoying to watch and i really thought at some point this might wear off after some point, but the movie stretches it till the end for no reason. Zendaya and Robert Pattinson have great chemistry, loved them together, pattinson's physical comedy again impressed me after Mickey 17. Zendaya was back in her euphoria mode. But i loved the characters and the performances, but the script was weak for me. But i loved what film wanted to do with it, it created a deviation from the reality of our dark times, and perfectly sums it up. How certain sins where compassion may be warranted, but you get none. Instead, you get the spiral with zero questions, treated like criminals for sharing the disturbing thoughts out in the world among your close ones. But in the film somewhere between censuring the school shooting acts and relationship morals and dilemma, it forgets the person who needed the support and love, infact it was bullying of a new kind.
