Tid-bit Reviews
A good story that could've been told better.
While the movie keeps the viewers wanting for more, it actually lacks the intensity to keep you glued to the screen. The three separate stories that get intertwined is an old trope but they were good and had their moments. While predictability is not the dipping stick for war movies, as a viewer I still would like to be surprised by the characters. While the characters had strong and respectable arcs, the story didn't do much in terms of tying those character arcs together. Telling three different stories in a movie and keeping the viewer engaged is a mammoth task that was attempted (I was reminded of Dunkirk). It was a happy surprise to watch Tom Felton (Malfoy) in a Dutch movie, and I'm glad he didn't disappoint.

Based on a true story, this world war 2 film explores the overlooked " Battle
of Scheldt " - an allied operation in late 1944 that allowed access to the port of Antwerp.
