"The Pet Detective," directed by Praneesh Vijayan, is a complete fun ride.
The story and its interesting subplots make "The Pet Detective" a complete entertainment package.
While some of the comedy and narration in the first half feel like they don't quite work, the movie quickly overcomes those issues in the second half and finds its pace, leading to a very fun climax.
On a technical level, the film is very well-made, with excellent cinematography, editing, colour grading, and action. Rajesh Murugesan's music elevates the film even further.
The performances by the cast are strong. Sharaf U Dheen, Joemon Jyothir, Vinay ForT, Anupama Parameswaran, and Shyam Mohan, along with all the other actors, deliver nice performances.
Overall, "The Pet Detective" is a complete fun-filled entertainer and a decent watch.
