The Whisper Man

When a widower’s young son disappears, he turns to his estranged father, a retired detective who once caught a notorious serial killer known as the Whisper Man. The problem is… the killer is already behind bars. 👀 The film does a good job creating that old-school serial-killer thriller atmosphere. Adam Scott brings a lot of emotion to the desperate father, while Robert De Niro is quietly intense as the retired detective. Michael Keaton is also memorable in his limited but unsettling role. The mystery is interesting enough to keep you watching, although some of the twists feel familiar if you’ve seen a lot of crime thrillers.
