Even though he changed the ending, even without that, this film is much more of a child of Kurosawa's vision than Shakespeare's, the visuals and illusion Kurosawa created was something you cannot imagine. Brilliant use natural effects like mist, fog and forest. A perfect fantasy feudal drama.
