MAN OF CINEMA
Terrific satire on ratings hungry news Industry.
Anything is sellable on tv news as long as it provokes people and influences them. The film hilariously shows how people twist and turn things to spread propaganda for ratings and how tv news is nothing short of entertainment. And it's more hauntingly relevant now than ever.
Peter Finch as Howard Beal was just too good. Well deserved oscars award for best actor. Peter Finch's line to the audience to "Turn off your TV now" is perhaps the best advice we could ever get in our current world.
This film is a grim reminder of how powerful the screen's influence is on people. You are not the one pushing the buttons of TV remote, its people behind the tv news who are pushing your buttons.

A harrowing BTS of the television news that mostly resembles with the current
scenario.

Jinesh Muralidharan
An almost satirical take on how news channels lose their ethical quality and
instead of reporting news , they start making news and influence people for TV ratings . Really good

Shridhar Manivannan
"The first known instance of man who was killed because he had lousy ratings".
Well written and well performed!
