Burden of Dreams

When every day life becomes an illusion, then you look beyond it into thereality of dreams. Werner Herzog followed his one such wild dream trying to make it reality in the mysterious amazon jungles in peru, but that dream of making an epic extravaganza film faces unbelievable horrors in terms of weather, people, and unimagined conditions. That burden of a dream breaks his heart and his love for filmmaking but does break his courage as he still pulls through the last shot of the film. Its an amazing achievement as well as a curse on him which he has to endure through 4 years of horrifying production. This documentary captures all that so perfectly. This documentary does not discourage filmmakers instead it sets out a great example of courage, patience and love for cinema which every filmmaker should have when he sets out to make his dream come true. It's a marvelous documentary.
