La Grande Bouffe ( 1973 ) but with Film noir characteristics ( in terms of plot
/ story atleast ) with beautiful cinematography & set pieces reminded me of a cross between Bergman’s- cries & whispers & Werner fassbinder’s - the bitter tears of Petra von Kant . Also side note - Peter Greenaway very subtly & smartly render’s the resurrection of Jesus .
