I've been a fan of the John Woo-Chow Yun Fat collaboration ever since I watchedThe Killer and the A Better Tomorrow franchise. The high-octane action scenes in their films always get my heart racing. This John Woo film delivers the same adrenaline rush as his previous works, including the intense face-off between Chow Yun Fat and Tony Leung Chiu-Wai. While Chow Yun Fat usually steals the spotlight in John Woo films, Tony Leung Chiu-Wai's performance in this film is absolutely captivating. Even though it may not reach the peak of The Killer, I have to say that this is one of the best films from John Woo.
