- 'Philadelphia' is a decent drama directed by Jonathan Demme starring Tom
Hanks and Denzel Washington, absolute powerhouse of talents coming together for a courtroom drama with a social message and the film ends up decent , it starts off great then for me it slowed down a little towards the end. The performances by Denzel Washington and Tom Hanks was extraordinary and easily was the highlights of the film for me. Decent watch.
