MAN OF CINEMA
France has always been a hub of immigrants from all over the world and because
the country has always seen social unrest , discrimination and poverty among immigrants so often. This movie brilliantly showcases those things centering three characters a jew, black folk and muslim. All three struggling from poverty, but more than that what really bothered these people were the brutality and discrimination by Police Officers, who were clearly the main villains of this movie. Movies move like a documentary, capturing the events of all three throughout the same day and night and climax in the morning. It feels very authentic, because characters were so honest and storytelling was kept simple highlighting day to day struggles to survive, the mental state of these people living in constant oppression. The cinematography was beautiful, the black & white color grading highlights the grim & dark nature of the movie. Among all three characters, Vinz was a standout and actor given a brilliant performance. This is not a typical french film you see, but it is a true french film in the sense of reality.

The whole movie felt like a Jewish saviour complex which the director seems to
be projecting through the character vinz , pretentious & one dimensional characters but good camera
Not A Cinephile
This movie is different it is raw, intense and most importantly thought
provoking. Always remember it's not the fall but how you land that makes the difference.
