Synopsis

On the surface of what seems like a dark and disturbing slice of fantasy-porn,
the movie actually talks about sexual repression among married women. But somewhere with all the sequence of blackmail, grotesque visuals the film loses its own essence.
It's shot in sensual blue-tinted monochrome and most of the scenes are set in a pouring rain in the city. This filmmaking style matches the obsessive themes of the film.
It's definitely kinky, perverse and full of exploitation thrills. But it is not what the director really hoped for. The film misses the nuances and emotional depth of character. It fails to explore Rinko's worst fears, and deepest desires in a much better way.
