Kamal Haasan - the maestro of indian cinema .
This movie is an artistic depiction of real life truths with niche filmmaking . The way the differences between the behaviour of humans displayed was superb .Screenplay was so well made , with intense moments standing out so well. The communism ideologies and the definition of God were explained so well . Screenplay was just in its peak of course it was done by the master himself.Kamal's acting was just pure finesse . He was never kamal haasan in this film , he was nalla sivam the whole time . Kamal's thinking process is so vast and phenomenal .Madhavan was excellent as he used to be always . Vidyasagar's musical masterclass was pure bliss and whenever the song "anbe sivamagum" popped in , I just felt sheer goosebumps. Sundar c was unbelievable and extremely goated in this film . Never expected that Sundar c could make a masterpiece like this . Kamal is so ahead of his time . Like the fact that he talked about or introduced the word tsunami to the tamil people for the first time in this film in 2003 and depicts how much of a cinematic prodigy he was and is . The fact that tsunami actually hit Chennai In late 2004 , one year of anbe sivam release is just shocking and terrifying. He deserves every award in the whole world just for this film .Everything about this film is so freaking exceptional. "Munna pinna theriyaatha oru payannukaaga kanneer vidra antha Manasu iruke athaan Kadavul "- ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan (2003) Learned many things about life from this film . Must watch for everyone. I was left in awe after watching this unblemished and well cooked film by kamal and sundar c. This film is an underrated gem.
