and crazy characters. But here Wes thought where i can find colors,chaos and craziness all at one place? That's how he landed in india with this beautiful road trip story of three brothers trying to reignite the lost bond and find themselves with new meaning for life. I feel its not justifiable to say it's a road trip movie, i feel in real sense it is a spiritual journey and i feel Wes really wanted the audience to feel that. I think we all do feel it. The film makes the audience as part of the journey. The film really shows india in a very contemporary way, true to its nature without any narrative. I liked that, otherwise western film focuses on poverty more than nature/character of the country. You do not feel it here. Here comedy is also very nuanced and dry humour often comes out in a subtle way. The dynamic between the brothers is so well done. i felt as though the script knew that it was supposed to build up to the climax, But the i feel movie really didn’t care about that. It just wanted to get lost in the journey eith these characters as they move from one adventure to another. Almost gives a feel of improvisation as the movie moves along. the driving force of the narrative wasn’t really a driving force. By the time you reach the climax, you really don't care much about it. And the movie understands that , that's why all three hop on the train again. Maybe this time Francis won't follow the itinerary. The film clearly lacks the structure , resolution and other technical aspects but it does work on you on another level. Wes Anderson really captured a comfort soul amidst all chaos in this film and you will feel it too.
