Megalopolis

Coppola sells this grand piece of shit as a Fable, but even in fable things and characters make sense even if they are unbelievable. But here nothing makes sense. Coppola thinking he is telling a deep philosophical story, but actually the movie feels like rich people playing cosplay and doing nonsensical shit and somewhere trying build a city that no fucking asked for. It's such a shithousery. I have not watched a film which feels so off right from the first scene. I wish i could take my eyes off, but those visuals were making me sick. I want what Coppola was smoking while making this film, might be some good stuff. Imagine with all those brilliant actors you cant pull off a decent film then it shows how important the script and screenplay is to the film. The opening narration says because of the power of few men the world will fall, after the whole movie i did not see any real world or its people who are at threat in this. Was he talking about the world of rich people? Because in the whole film only these power and greed mongering people you see, there are no real people involved in it whose lives might be affected because of decisions taken by them. I really tried to make sense of something here. But it was so badly written, even the dialogues make you sick.
