I wish it was a movie or a limited series of few episodes.
Because every episode hits you in the gut and makes you sob throughout, and that was overwhelming for me.
I really like that they chose the topic of emotional abuse in DV. Because so many women just endure it everyday and never talk about it and for men emotional abuse is not an abuse, and the patriarchal laws support it. In my opinion emotional abuse leaves a bigger scar on a person than physical abuse, and i have seen it. That's why this series felt so personal to me and the series handles it perfectly and feels authentic.
Ngl i did not recognise Margaret Qualley in the first episode, watching her in this after her role in Substance completely threw me off. What a brilliant performance by her.
