Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes

2024 English MovieSci-Fi Action Adventure Drama Thriller

Many years after the reign of Caesar, a young ape goes on a journey that will lead him to question everything he's been taught about the past and make choices that will define a future for apes and humans alike.

MAN OF CINEMA
Can Ape & Humans live together in peace? They have been asking this question
since the first installment in 2011. And now there is the complete kingdom of Apes and humans are nearly extinct and yet those who survived have not forgotten their claim on lands and resources and want to thrive more than apes. This is where the future looks interesting as there will be two more parts coming out. both the species will face each other but this time it will be for survival of the fittest or to thrive together. The Kingdom of plant of apes provides very deep thoughts about legacy, clan, being a leader when it matters. Film throughout talks about Caesar and his legacy. But just like humans in the current day, apes have twisted his teachings and taken the wrong way to lead the herd. Ape together strong moto was clearly lacking. While the storyline had similarities like other ape films where the protagonist Noa goes to revenge quest in order to save his family/clan. But what good is the journey of Noa becoming from brave teen to a mature leader who understands the real teachings of Caesar and the heart to show mercy and love. He is in a way a reincarnation of Caesar. Film got some of the brilliant motion captures, which keep me thinking how they would have shot all these. Because all this looks so real and genuine. The only thing which did not work for me is the length of the film. Should have been 2 hrs or so..it does become a little slow and boring in the middle. And might remind this is the first film which has like more than 80% of scenes just with apes no humans. In that way it does become challenging to keep it engaging. But it does work well.

Reboots are generally only a shell of the original films, some are even really
bad. The 2011 reboot of the Planet of the Apes is a rare exception and very underrated, would highly

Too many monkeys and too much setup but not enough emotion or impact BUT like
every other Apes film, loved the political undertone and the amount of parallels one can draw to the

This movie may have a decent concept, but the execution of it makes it
