From chaos to calmness, this journey of Runa from being extreme alcoholic and filled with anxiety to finding herself back in a place like rockney island where all her trauma began in the first place. I did not like the non- linear storytelling in a confusing way, in the beginning it was confusing to understand which one is when and tracking the timeline. But what makes this movie special is where this movie and character was set. A remote Scottish island in the middle of sounds of seal to sighting extremely rare bird corncrake, from dry snowy wind to endless gaze of ocean, rona finds solemn and profound meaning to her troubled life. It's a really bleak and lonely place to be, but it kind puts you in an introspective and value the little beautiful things around you. It's a great story of self transformation, like a fiery wave hitting a stone to calm herself down, its euphoric, mindful and full of life. Saoirse Ronan gave a spectacular performance again, she is such an effortless actress.
