When greed paves the way for betrayal, scheming and murder, a young tribal reluctantly dons the traditions of his ancestors to seek justice.

What I really love about this film is the making; cinematography, direction
and sound design…it’s like when you make a perfect Rasam curry with all the spices and vegetables blend it just perfect. The phase was great; there was always a curiosity about what is going to happen next. But is it that good to be celebrated for, maybe for some; definitely not for me though. I’ll tell you some things which I didn’t find it suiting for me; the conflict between the villagers and the police; I don’t know when there was a option which was later on said in the plot, villagers can dispute in court after the land is being made into forest reserve; and acquire their land with the document; the unnecessary dispute with the villagers and the police just looses the point. As if it’s just a deviation for the 2/3 hours of the film from what the actual film is about. Idk if it’s fiction it’s possible, but there should be some logic ig…I don’t think rulers can keep the unimaginable amount of ancestral land in this Modern era. I really appreciate the Director Rishab Shetty for performance and making of this film; but idk what his political ideology is, what made me strike was how he just literally showed that a Muslim guy will be a suicide bomber and the Kannur guy being the aggressive gangs of gunda 🤨

The story of the movie Kantara revolves around the worship of two Daivas -
Panjurli and Gulia. The story of Panjurli daiva comes from an oral tradition.

Rishab Shetty’s direction is bold and layered, skillfully merging regional
