Caught my attention right off when it had Eric rohmer in the opening credits in
the thank you section and I could see why because there were scenes that could be counted as a homage or had parallels with rohmer movies ( traded Paris with BOMBAY ) particularly the second story of Rendez-vous in Paris - The benches of Paris , My night at mauds , even the red polka dot dress Katrina Kaif was wearing looks very similar to the one the main character Ester of the first story of Rendez-vous in Paris - The Rendezvous at 7 PM .
The thriller part and even the camera work were very fascinating and reminded me more of ( the elements of thrillers ) Truffaut works than of Hitchcock .
Ended kind of poetically and it is always a delight to have to listen to vilvadi’s winter .
