Great Star cast, Good concept but poor execution and half baked story.
The story dwells on the traumatic horrors of slavery of their ancestors and the piano which was cursed and a cause of their death. The film tries to be a supernatural movie, but it lacks those horror elements, and no shock value. And for some reason the accent of John Washington did not feel authentic, it was more forced. The language was an issue with the dialogues. Because the movie is heavily based on conversations, the authenticity was a big let down. The past and present feel disjointed, even the ending did not make sense. I was expecting this to be another "Get Out" kind of film, but it was really disappointing for me.
